The estate, located a few kilometres from Cinigiano, lies in the hills overlooking the confluence of the Orcia and Ombrone rivers. This is where Montecucco DOC wine is produced.

It borders the Brunello di Montalcino area and was once part of the rich Castel Porrona estate, which belonged to illustrious families.
